It depends on what you like. Miami is way too busy. I'd go to Key West but it is a long trip. Ft. Meyers is nice and there is a lot to do including visiting Sanibel and Captiva. The weather should be nice in November. The weather in Ft. Meyers will be much warmer and I much prefer the gulf coast to the Atlantic. I would pick small towns, not the bigger towns. Shelling along the gulf coast is great. Try deep sea fishing or at least a boat tour. Enjoy your trip.

When we used to visit the area, we often drove up to Tarpon Springs for dinner at Mykonos restaurant. It's a little bit of Greece!
