Convert inches into decimeters:
18.28 in = 4.64312 dm
19.03 in = 4.83362 dm
15.47 in = 3.92938 dm
1 dm^3 = 1 litre.
4.64312 dm * 4.83362 dm * 3.92938 dm = 88.187 dm^3 = 88.187 litres, whatever you put in your tank!
(of course, you could calculate the volume in cubic inches, then convert in cubic decimeters (litres).)

Gosh, guy, don't you know about unit conversion tables ???
(And, if you are british, may I remind you that you agreed to go METRIC in 1971!!!)

well if you do not specify the temperature, volume and whether we're speaking of gaseous or liquid hexane, the answer can not be determined. Usually when filling industrial tanks, they are ment to hold more that 1 atm pressure...

First thing is to calculate the volume, then convert the volume from cubic inches to litres.

volume=18.28*19.03*15.47 cu.in
1 cu. in = 0.016387064 litres
therefore it can hold 18.28*19.03*15.47*0.016387064 litres
=88.2 litres
