Oil pays for terrorism.

Every time we buy a tank of gas, some of that money goes into terrorism.

I think we should stop buying foreign oil and produce our own AND go after alternative fuels.

We currently have THE party that is actively seeking other fuels. Under the Bush Administration (and private industy, those "nasty big corporations"), we are improving America's ability to produce its own fuel, including ethanol. We are implementing ecologically correct oil production in Alaska, the Gulf of Mexico, and elsewhere. Chesapeake Energy has just been authorized to extract natural gas from the Barrett shale deposit below the 18,000 acre Dallas/Fort Worth airport. This administration has funded new clean-burn coal technology and Fischer-Tropsch coal-to-liquid fuel technology. A plant in Pennsylvania is in work to produce low sulfur diesel fuel from existing and future COAL MINE TAILINGS, which have always before been worthless mess and a major source of stream pollution.

Where was the Clinton administration on this? And where was Al Gore headed, or ANY of the current Democrat candidates? NOWHERE, that's where. They have opposed all of it.

Tell you what.... why don't we all just move down to Brazil for those alternative fuels. Don't be mistaken all major parties are tied to oil companies... who do you think funds their campaigns

no they are not and anyone who thinks they are
should have their head examined

typical dumo crat ploy

in its simplest terms - terrorism is a quest for power
terrorist thrive in the middle east
oil production is high in the middle east

that's about as close as it comes

there is no causal connection between oil and terrorism
except for the fact tha many terrorist probably fund their arms purchases with money generated by oil revenue

"Our race is the master race. We are divine gods on this planet. We are as different from the inferior races as they are from insects. In fact, compared to our race, other races are beasts and animals, cattle at best. Other races are considred as human excrement. Our destiny is to rule over the inferior races. Our earthly kingdom will be ruled by our leader with a rod of iron. The masses will lick our feet, and serve us as our slaves."
