how can i identify a captain of a volleyball team from the other players?

I am trying to do a report on volleyball but i have a few unanswered questions i can't seem to find information on. I need someone who plays volley ball to give me a good description of the game

When you are in a time-ouy just look at the scorecard the captain must be listed,he or she is the only player that can communicate with the referee

The captain has some clothe or arm band on their arm.
