Obviously they are not your best friend. because your best friend always has your back doesn't talk behind it. Drop them from friend to acquaintance.

My mother has always said that when ur friends with someone and they do or say bad things about you and ur the one who's the nice one then that means ur they're friend but they're but ur's
U should confront her tell her how it hurts to hear that she( ur bestfriend) said these things about u and that u would never have believe her to do this( that might make her feel bad) tell her that u see now that you've been the friend to her but she's not been ur friend. U still love her as a friend ( but maybe not a BEST friend)

First find out if it's true. Then ask her directly why she would say what she said about you.Tell her you would prefer if she had things to say about you that she should speak directly to you. Let her know that it hurt your feelings. Perhaps this friendship can be saved. You have to apprach her in a loving way even if what she did was not very loving. If you approach her aggressively she will respond with aggression....

that's not a friend, that's a shallow person who has no life so just talks behind people's back.
example:
they talk to a person A against person B. then when they meet the person B, they talk about person A.
that sucks!

Give her a piece of your mind.Explain to her you dont appreciate what she did and gauge her response.And if your frienship is strong enuf to overcome the issue forgive and move on if not tell her to go to hell.Happened to me once i beat the sh** out of her then we reconciled and are still great pals.But now she respects me more.

her's there's and the truth
If she is truly a"friend" she will be honest and you can resolve anything

doodlz is right, they don't deserve being ur friends anymore. real friends are supposed tu cover ur back.

well it depends wht she said about you. i did that before at camp and she was there but i told her about it and she forgave me. if your friend said something really mean dont be her friend but if it is not that big i will forgive her ( if i was her friend)
