We all know how white people talk. they talk high pitch and thru their nose and all goofy soundin and whatever.

Is it a requirement that i talk like that to go to college?

i went to this college orientation that i want to go to and everybody had to introduce themselves. even the one brotha that was there sounded white, even though he looked like he was cool, he sounded like a real cornball.

are they gonna give me bad grades just because i have a manly and strong tone of voice?

No. They'll give you bad grades if you score low tests scores, don't complete homework assignments, and never show up to class.

P.S. I love your audacity with the name. It's bold...and I bet many won't even notice.

lol. this is funny. i know exactly what you're talking about.

now, to answer your question, "are they gonna give me bad grades just because i have a manly and strong tone of voice?"

they may, but the majority will probably not if they see you work hard and make good grades.

i'm white, but i have a "brooklyn" accent and i live in north carolina.

i have gotten some weird looks from some students, and i can only recall one teacher that i think treated me unfairly, and the only reason i can think of is because of the way i talk or where i'm from.

i transferred from that college now, but i had a 3.4 GPA and this teacher gave me a grade C in Pre-Cal. i had a solid B average in her class, but she graded my final exam so harshly that i made something like a 58 on it, just so she could give me a C instead of a B. i really think it was because she didn't like me because i'm a yankee or because of my accent. there is no way i made a C in that class, but there is really no arguing with a teacher.

the funny thing is i made an A in Calculus the next semester.

so my advice is go ahead and go to the school. there will always be a few a**holes no matter where you go in life.

No, you don't. I'm one of those Asian that don't talk like whites and do sports and hell yeah, I'm going to college. But don't be all judgemental about all these white kids since that's the way they were brought up and there's nothing wrong with having nasally voices and being articulate. You can be manly and have a strong voice as long as you are still eloquent. If you sound stupid, you're obviously gonna get bad grades.

that is funny cause its true... no need to talk like a jack *** to get into a good college... tell those kids to shut the f up cause I know what kind of "white people" you are talking about... and they do need to cool it with the little Bit*h voice...
