Please, tell an old woman what makes you so miserable and see if it compares with my hardships of being stuck in my old hut all day on this laptop in a wheelchair, fool!

Well now.......my life is ok, not great, less than perfect....but who really knows what a perfect life is!?!?
As far as you being stuck in a wheelchair on a laptop all day........thank goodness for YAHOO ANSWERS!
Just think of the points you could accumulate with that laptop!!!!
(but, get a grip on the attitude, I don't think you calling people fool is going to get you best answer points)
Just because you're in a wheelchair does not mean you're worthless. But I think you definately need an attitude change. No pity here. You deal with what life gives you and make the best of it.
Take your brain and put it to work helping others.

Hold On There!!!
Just focus on what is good in your life:..
You are alive..
You have a brain you can use...(not senile)
You have a roof over your head ..(not homeless)
Better or worse but YOU have food on the table (not starved)
You can still use your upper limbs (not motionless on your back)
You have your eyes (You are not blind)
You are literate and can write
You can, if so wish, communicate with the whole world if you like, by using your computer.
Why not write up your experiences and thoughts over the years and share with others over the W W W?
If you search this site alone I am sure you can find genuine questions to which you can truthfully answer and thus extend help to others ( a very very worth-while activity)
In all..PLEASE FEEL BLESSED as others feel that You are!....
You had your moment of self-pity ..now get on with your life!!!

well, it's all a matter of perspective, really. i mean, sure there are children starving in china, and people in lebenon being hit by bombs when they try to buy a cheese-burger, but that doesn't make your personal pain any less, does it?
basically, why should someone who's just lost thier car keys be less upset just because someone else lost thier parents? yeah, it sucks that you lost the use of your legs, but goddamnit, i still have scars all over my body from when my parents held me down and burnt me with cigarettes! and it still sucks, even though you might arguably have it worse!
everyone's pain is significant, and everyone's suffering is meaningful. nobody owns the market on anguish and misery.

Umm, wow, you seem to be a bit angry there. I'm sorry about you being upset about being stuck in a wheel chair (that's what it seems like) but umm, so far thank Jesus my life is fine with the occasionally ups and downs.
