When will Discrimination against white people stop?

I am starting to get annoyed by people who will not pick a white person for a job because they are white.
There cannot be a White Entertainment TV, but there is Black Entertainment TV.
There are MANY Black only magazines, but not white only.
Black's and Hispanic's can get welfare just by showing up, yet whites have to prove they are poor.

It is just sad how Affirmative action has turned into reverse discrimination.

Keep this in mind people. Sometimes questions get asked to get peoples opinions. Just because you have never wintnessed or had to deal with it does not mean it does not exist.
I do not have a welfare issue, but I have friend who have found themselves in trouble times and can not get help.
I have a great job that pay's well, but the same friend can not get a decent job because the companies have to fulfill thier Black and Hispanic quota's first.

Slavery was legal then and was wrong. Segregation was legal then and also was wrong.
Those are bad marks on the world, not just America, however whites did not put blacks into slavery. Black Tribesmen put other Black Tribesmen into slavery. That was one of the way's that war was fought in Africa.
Now that segregation and slavery have been over, when do we stop it in reverse?

Everyone should be equal NO MATTER of any skin color, yet now we have preferential treatment for one over the other. IT is NOT right.

You won't get any one to buy into this notion at least in public, but it s there, (so is the other kinds, but thye get all the press).

The abuses of Affirmative action is no worse than Jim Crow was.

I have not been able to get into one college that I know of, and start behind Blacks & Hispanics on every civil service exam, because they get points for their ethnicity, nothing to do with qualifications.

I towed the line, went to school, studied hard, and have had people placed ahead, with noticably less of a resume and skillset, (no close calls here). because they are needed to balance the "racial / gender fabric" of the company.

If this is true, we have TOO MANY Blacks in the NBA, and not enough Fillpinos! Who would come to watch a game of mediocre people pciked because they represent the ethnic diversity of their home town? They would probably suck. So does a workforce that is not allowed to let the cream rise to the top, and hires people based on their demographic.

If you have done the deed and have the "goods" no one should hold you back because you are not a member of a "protected" minority. You don't see the Asians running around looking for victim status, they are too busy getting their second college degree, and starting a business!

When any group, no matter what their skin color, are given preference or special treatment over another that is wrong! When is the government/public going to realize, they, because of this practice are causing resentment towards the recipients of the special treatment. Discrimination is discrimination! We need to stop choosing people by the color of their skin and pick the most qualified whether for a job or a college program.

I'm not a racist, but I have an open mind. Caucasian History Month, White Businessmens Association. I know the prevailing attitude is making up for the all-white restaurants, whites only beaches and so on. But hasn't any one heard of equality? Favoritism based on skin color is wrong no matter what color you are. Would you rather be promoted based on your skills rather than because the employer felt sorry for your pigmentation? Did you know that there are only 49 entrants in the Miss Black USA contest this year? They can't find anyone that will wear a banner that says, "Idaho". What would you show on White Entertainment Television? Would you run "Roots" backwards?

There are allot of racialism in these groups of people that you speak of. The same people who promote these products are the biggest racist. There are jobs and education programs that give these individual credit for being of a certain race even though they did not qualify. My answer I dont know, may be we need to just sit back and start complaining about them more.

It won't as long as each minority throws insulting remarks concerning how whites have been mistreating each of their cultures for umpteen dozens of years. These minorities have to learn to grow with the present and future and stop blaming whites for all their troubles.

I live in a city that got most of the Katrina victims. Yesterday I was in a convenience store and 2 black Lady's and a black man were ahead of me trying to buy cigars and the clerk who was middle eastern of some kind refused to sale the cigars to them because they did not have a TEXAS identification card. You can't buy tobacco in Texas without a proper Texas ID. One of the women threaten to sue the clerk and the man said "this is because we are from Louisiana ain't it" I almost fell out laughing. I wanted so bad to say no stupid it is because it is the law. My point everyone is a victom now except the evil white male.
