why do so many of you not like or hate the south states and refer to it as "the dirty south"

It's not that people don't like the South, it's that people don't like inbreeding. Oh, I guess people don't like the South.

Never heard of the term "dirty south", nor would I ever refer to the south that way.
You probably heard it one time, and decided that "so many" people hate or don't like the southern states. That's just as dumb as the person who said it. Get over it and quit dwelling on it.

I don't hate the south. I was born & raised there. As a general rule the south breeds hatred, bigotry and intollerance.
