wouldnt you have to ask both paths what the other path would say was the way to heaven?

seeing one path always lies it would direct you to hell
seeing one path always tells the truth it would direct you to hell also (in reply to the above question)

therefore the opposing path is heaven

Since the ONLY way to Heaven is through the blood of Jesus Christ our Lord, the riddle is useless. A man-made path doesn't exist.

This is a variation of an old riddle. I forget the actual answer, but the question is either "which one of you will lie" or 'which one of you will tell the truth".. from their answers, you are able to logically deduce which one is lying and which one is truthful.

Ask them what the other would say if you asked them what they were. The truth teller would then tell the truth, and say that the liar would lie and say he is the truth teller. The liar would then lie, and say that the truth teller would say he is the liar. Therefore, the answers that they give (truth teller -> truth teller and liar -> liar) give away who they are.

you won't know the answer until you try one of the path. Choice not given for Hell.
