Very few bands can pull off such a satisfying sound. Usually a band sounds 'empty' to me, or very bland -- they lack a texture and punch to the music. Examples include most stuff on the radio. Styx, however, has something very nice going on, doesn't it?

Styx was one of those classic rock bands that really knew what they were doing, and they did it well. They are just another example of one of the many good classic rock bands... and there aren't many good bands around like them today.

The fact that a hermaphrodite can sing both male and female octaves and such a wussy, estrogen driven pentuplet can perform songs like "Renegade" or "Too Much Time On My Hands" not only astounds me, but surely is what paves their way to awesomeness.

I went to my first Styx concert about 2 weeks ago and they were wonderful. They really seem to enjoy what they do and the interaction with the fans was unsurpassed! I LOVE their music!
