I want to sell my songs but I don't know how to go about it. I mostly want to know if they expect a demo of the song or just the sheetmusic. Any info will help.

You get it copywritten.. the forms are online: http://www.copyright.gov/forms/ and at the library.
You can become a member of ASCAP, the music
pubishing organization for education, insurance,
et cetera. If you want to SELL to an artist,
of course they want to hear the song. The quality
of your voice doesn't matter. Best wishes.

both. record a simple demo of the song, transcribe the music and the lyrics. don't just start sending it to people, though. call them first- they won't take unsolicited materials, because it causes all sorts of copyright problems.

Depends on who you are selling your song to.
