I am ex navy myself so i feel that it is a personal choice to go into the military. Here are my 3 reasons not to join. 1) you don't want to take the risk that you could be killed. 2) You have a family and you need to be at home taking care of them. 3) The foods not that great. Although i have heard that the air forces food is pretty good.

They are over weight, the have a past criminal record, they have a moral objection as to what the military is there for, to protect the nation from which they are from and they need to understand that the military will take every action to ensure that thatnation is protected even if it means loss of life to the enemy and or GOD forbid, civilian casualties resulting from actin against the enemy. Three good reasons however, job security, education, and travel.

1. You die. 2. You don't make it out alive 3. If you do make it out alive, chances are that you are short a couple of limbs.
Actually the military is okay, but don't get suckered into going to Iraq and fighting for someone elses poor decision making. Fight for a good cause.

1- if youre not doing it for the right reason.
2-if you go into it with preconcieved notions about what the military is (believe me you'll find out when you get there)
3-if you dont plan on living by the code of armed service

1. A group of men living together for months on end can't be healthy
2. Soldiers are not taught to think because they have to obey orders, no problem with that, but when they come out of the military then it's a big problem - marital problems/employment problems etc.
3. You can get killed or seriously maimed

1. You would be fighting for a government that just tries to screw us over and cost us more money. Then, they want total control of each and everyone of us.
2. You have like a 3000% chance of getting shipped out on a tour immediately after boot camp. These days that's how it is. I mean that is if you like being away from your loved ones fighting a war that really isn't doing America any good.
3. You have a really good chance of being killed by a car bomb or something of that nature. If you by chance live, you'll probably get to watch some of your fellow soldiers, who knows maybe friends of yours get blown up.
Those good enough?

well...my b/f left for the military and I felt completely bitter but going into the military is truly a respectable thing. they leave their loved ones behind to protect them! so I don't have 3 reasons for you....do what you feel is right! it'll all turn out good in the end!
