My TV remote won't work, thus allowing me to change to AV Channel. I am aware I can't pick up US TV but want my ps2 to work as I have loads of games

Thanks for all responses todate. I have a power convertor on all my uk appliances (which work fine), and have new batteries in the remote !!! still no joy

the plug sockets are different over there... you need to buy a travellers plug socket, as for the tv and ps2 as long as you have a special plug socket it will work fine...

As long as you have a UK PS2 to go with your UK telly.
Perhaps your remote need new batteries (that always gets me!)

Voltage standards differ in UK and USA. Could you not try to check with any PS2 distributor in US and seek their assistance.

YEAH BUT YOUR CHANNELS WILL BE DIFFRENT. BUT YEAH AS LONGS AS YOUR PLUG WORKS OUT HERE, YOU MAY NEED AN ADAPTER.
