Everytime when I did not do my homework,my friends will offer me their worksheets to copy. Some will put thier worksheets on my table and say it was for my reference. Some even offered to help me to copy!To me,cheating is so stupid. The only difference between not doing homework and copying is that one has words on it,the other one doesn't.I don't want to copy. Why can't they understand? Are they my true friends?*They copy too.*

You have a great attitude and I wish more people were like you. They are your friends, but not all people are going to make the same decisions in life. If you do not want to cheat then tell them Thanks but No Thanks. But you should just at least try to do your HW so that you don't have to deal with both your friends trying to get you to copy and the teach on your back for not doing it.

Then do your HW the minute you get home from school. That's what my son does during the school year. He doesn't have a choice.

How wonderful that you are this smart! I commend you!

My question to you is . . . why do you have trouble getting your assignments done on time?

Yes, copying IS wrong and gets you no where in life. I would just be more bold with your friends and try to make it very clear that you are not interested in cheating.

I'd say report them to a teacher, but I think that will actually start trouble for you and it wouldn't be a wise decision.

Instead, ask the to respect your choices to not copy and that if they cannot accept it, then they need to go find another friend. These people are NOT your "real" friends by acting this way and trying to encourage you to cheat.

I'l bet once you get ten years ahead, you'll see who is successful and who isn't! Success is achieved by working hard and having integrity (which you seem to have a grip on).

Good luck, honey! I hope my advice helps you! Have a great day! : )

P.S. - Remember to allow yourself enough time to get your homework finished on time. This would also help eliminate your issues with these "friends"!

As you mature... you'll *get* it.

That you alone are responsible for your actions.

Your friends CAN'T make you cheat... nor can they cheat off of YOU if you don't want them to.

If they put the answers before you, you can always turn them over or not look at them. And of course if you DID your homework, (like you should), the point of them offering you the homework to copy is rendered MOOT.

There are so many things wrong with your presentation... but the WORST of the concepts... is:

There is little difference between doing your homework and copying your homework. That's FLAT wrong. It shows you miss the POINT. It's the experience you gain by going through the exercises... that is the reason homework is assigned.

Copying homework... is like having someone go to the GYM for you. You get no "benefit" for the actions of others.

Do you get it now?

Let them know where you stand in this copying business. Make it clear that you're not judging them, they probably see it as no big deal! Make new friends! If the whole school copies, then you'll just have to live with being the odd one out.

They are your true friends, they want you to do well in school, and if you forget your home work or something like that they don't want you to fall behind. Most teachers can tell if you copy someones homework its not that hard to figure out. The best bet is to tell them no, and do your hw it is for your learning perposes. I hope i helped you.

ok... cheating is wrong yes...and copying homework isn't too high on the good list either..my best advice to you is to tell your friends that you would rather learn the answers on your own and just explain to them that you need to learn things just like them or you wil end up relying on others the rest of your life

No, they think they are doing the right thing, though. Just do you work, if there is any trouble tell your teacher that your friends are a little off.

Maybe they don't understand because they don't care about school as much as you do. Most people down right just don't care.
