Not a 28 day cycle?

Question

I have a 25 sometimes 26 day cyle. Is is possible to ovulate on day 11 of your cycle if your cycle is 25 or 26 days. I had serious ovulation twinges on day 11 and the ovulation kit said I was ovulating. So on line calculators on the websites are of no help to me because I never have a 28 day cycle.

you are absolutely correct. you most certainly can and likely do ovulate on day 11.

most calculators are set for a 28 day calendar. remember this when you speak to your doctor, (they operate with a 28 day cycle calendar too.) which would affect your due date.

i had the opposite problem since i had a 31-32 day cycle and this did throw off most of the advice I got. you have to adjust everything.

For those with a 28 day cycle, you would expect ovulation between days 13-15. Since your cycle is shorter, Day 11 is perfectly logical for ovulation.

The standard is NOT an absolute. All of our bodies are different. If all of the signa are telling you that you are ovulating LISTEN TO YOUR BODY and ignore what the standards are saying.

Most women do not have a 28 day cycle. If your home ovulation test says that you are ovulating than go for it baby. If your still unsure than consult your doctor, they can be a wealth of information.

Your cycle length is the time from the start of one era to the start of the subsequent. yet, once you've usually have a era on the twenty third day of the month, you'll actual have extra like a 30-31 day cycle, in view that this is what number days will be in between the start of each era.
