It can be garnished for things like child support, student loans and alimony.

Social Security is a federal check and nobody can touch your social security check and you may have to make some other kind of arrangment to pay the credit card off.
You need to contact the credit card company and set up a payment plan and try to get this card paid off before it is too late.
why are you not paying the bill on this don't make sense to me.

NO but the creditor/collection agencies will "threaten" that they can take up to 7% but in reality they can't touch a social security check.
