i feel the same, but i think because now we have more things to do. i dont know how old you are, but i'm 28, and now i have more responsibilities that say 10 years ago. there are days that seem to drag, though, but i think it is because of that.

In Physics, they have an exact time period for a day, which is measured by atomic clocks all over the world. Yes, 24 hours. They say so.
But I understand what you mean. Our PERCEPTION is different. Our minds are becoming faster and faster. The days seem to go by faster and faster because we dive more deeply into our thoughts, and when we come back up into the world, time has flown by like a bird.
When we were young, the days lasted forever, and when we ran, sometimes our feet did not touch the ground. Yes! It is true!
;-D Now, when we walk we feel the universe turning. Give us more time! How can we think of it all!?!?

the hours of the day is and will forever remain 24hrs untill further notice.but its the operation of the hours of the day thats in question here! its two things!
1.you might happen to have more than too many things to do in a day and so psychologically you feel the normal hours of the day has been ultered.
2.there are periods of shorter days and longer nights and vice versa.this is caused my the state of the revolution of the earth. the closer it draws to the sun the longer the days and the further it draws away from the sun the longer the nights.its interesting. google day or night for more scientific details. its really interesting.

actually the day is more than 24 hours a day. if you add leap-a-year it is a extra day for every four years. If you cancel the leap a year you could add 24/(365 X 4) but for practical purposes the one day added every four years is better. Actually the earth's rotation is 365.25 years.
This is just that when you get older there are more things to do and time passes faster. When you are young time seems to go slower. yet when you retire time seems to go slower it is all relative.

to tell you the truth, the earth is slowing down on its rotation on its own axis. Scientists believe this is because the earth started spinning because the impact from the big bang caused it to start rotating.now that the energy from the impact is wearing off, the earth is spinning slower than before. The difference in the speed that it is rotating at is slowing down only by about 0.000000000000001 seconds every year. The earth aint moving faster!!Its just your perception. you may be busy with stuff so you dont notice the time moving by.When you are bored, then time appears to move slowly. But when you are having fun or busy and are concentrating hard on some thing, time may appear to fly even though its slowing down.

The day grow to be by no skill precisely 24 hours lengthy first of all. The replace led to be the present earthquake in Japan had an rather minuscule impact on the speed of the rotation of the Earth.
