I was there in 1999. We were staging out of a SA Air Force Base ( AFB Hoedsprite, near Pallbora) to help with flood relief in Mozambique. South Africa has to be one of the mose beautiful countries I have ever been to and the people... I can't begin to tell you how friendly and hospitable they were! I have never met such nice people in all the world! The people we stayed at made sure we had anything we wanted, they got us squared away with safaris, "Brei's" ( BBQ's) they were even going to take us hunting if we wanted to. I spent a month there and I loved every minute of it. I am waiting until I retire so I can return and see soem of the people I met there again. Defiantely inthe top 5 of my favorite places!
