Hi Angel. Centrum (any of them) is the junk food of vitamins. Read the label. It is full of sugars, preservatives and coloring agents. And, it has very low levels of vitamins and minerals; and these are usually the cheapest forms, which are not well absorbed.
Your local health food store will carry many supplements of a higher quality than Centrum. A decent supplement will cost about $1.00 per day ($30.00 for a 30 day supply).
Hope this is helpful. Best wishes and good luck.

If it is Centrum Silver for someone over 50, why would you give it to someone over 50???.

You probably don't need a formula especially made for people who need an extra boost. Several physicians are now saying they only recommend one vitamin for everyone, regardless of age, because it's the best. Believe it or not, it's Flintstone chewables! They're packed with good things.

I don't think it will hurt you but its specailly formulated for the needs of older people. Different age groups have different vitamin needs. There are plenty of teen formulas around - why don't you try one of those?
