mg is the same as milligrams or one/thousandth of a gram.

So there would be one thousand mg in a gram.

In twenty grams there would be 20,000 or 2.0 x 10^4 mg.

There are 1000 mg in a gram....so there are 20,000 mg in 20 gms....use your head....milli means thousands....centi means 100....better study some more
