The bible help us to appreciate the name of God in (Psalm 83:18) 18 May people know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth.
Jehovah God wants ever sort of people to know his name: Now every human has a name why not Jehovah God the Creator of heaven and earth. Why? May because we thing he does not merit a name just a title. God is just a title is not a name. Is like calling into group a doctor your personal doctor, doctor, doctor, then the doctors will ask, wish doctor are you calling?
Let us see why Jehovah is the name of God even that the pronunciation is not clear.
Why does the New World Translation use the form “Jehovah”?
InEnglish, the four letters ofthe Tetragrammaton (××××) are represented
by the consonants YHWH. As was true of all written
words in ancient Hebrew, the Tetragrammaton contained no vowels.
When ancient Hebrew was in everyday use, readers easily
provided the appropriate vowels.
However, there is no reason to be dogmatic. We simply
do not know how God’s ancient servants pronounced this name
in Hebrew. (Genesis 13:4; Exodus 3:15) What we do know is that
God used his name repeatedly in communication with his people,
that they addressed him by that name, and that they used it
freely in speaking with others.—Exodus 6:2; 1 Kings 8:23; Psalm
99:9.
Why, then, does this translation use the form “Jehovah”? Because
that form of the divine name has a long history in the English
language.
The ï¬rst rendering of God’s personal name in an English Bible
appeared in 1530 in William Tyndale’s translation of the Pentateuch.
He used the form “Iehouah.” Over time, the English language
changed, and the spelling of the divine name was modernized.
For
Then, in 1639, when that work was revised and printed with the
God’s name at Genesis
15:2 inWilliam Tyndale’s
translation of the
Pentateuch, 1530
1735
Pentateuch, the form “Jehovah” was used. In 1901, the translators
who produced the American Standard Version of the Bible
used the form “Jehovah” where the divine name appeared in the
Hebrew text.
Explaining why he used “Jehovah” instead of “Yahweh” in his
1911 work Studies in the Psalms, respected Bible scholar Joseph
Bryant Rotherham said that he wanted to employ a “form of the
name more familiar (while perfectly acceptable) to the general
Bible-reading public.”
I will asking him to help all sort of man to come to know him as Jehovah the Creator of all living creature.

This is an interesting question here. It seems as though there are many gods, but only one Supreme God. Christians and Jews believe that Yahweh, or Jehovah is the Supreme God. This name is derived from what is known as the tetragrammaton, or sequence of four, referring to the four Hebrew letters YHVH (yod, he, vav, he). It is commonly translated as LORD in the Old Testament of the Bible. Muslims believe that Allah is the Supreme God. The Hindus have thousands of gods, whereas Buddhists worship no god at all. Personally, I feel that the fact that there are so many gods in present day religions can be traced back to ancient times, when there were highly advanced extraterrestrial beings on earth. Primitive man was so astounded by their technologies, that they worshiped them as gods. I feel that the Bible's claim that Yahweh/Jehovah as the Supreme ruler of earth, is difficult to deny. If I had just one question to ask Him, I think it would be "Why did we have to endure such trials, tribulations, and temptations on earth at the hand of Satan". The closest Yahweh could come to one of us, was His Son, Jesus. According to various descriptions in the Bible of men who actually did see Him, I think that He would look like an old man, with long hair, and beard.
