I' m thinking of getting out of this game that started out fun and refreshing...when adults can see a question obviously answered by someone under 18, they spit out venom with answers..........this makes me too sad to even want to participate in something that could be fun and helpful

I meant to say the questions are asked by young people and answered by nasty adults who give them no valuable information, but just their own sarcasm.

In particular, I was referring to a question from an 11 year old whose family didn't have resources for her to meet her friends at the mall or 7-11. She was asking what she could do to make money. Many of the answers were constructive and kind, but most were smart *** answers from people who didn't care. Although I totally agree that she has no business on the internet without parental supervision, these kids will always be there and their questions are serious to them.

I can honestly say that when I read a question from an apparently young person, I try my best to answer it accordingly, as if it was one of my grandchildren asking me. I fully understand what you mean and I feel absolutely disgusted when someone who is obviously a child asks 'where do babies come from'. A great many of the idiots on this forum answer it as if the child was a total idiot, using expressions only suitable for adults. Advice by all means, complaints about the misspellings and grammar, but do they not realise that a child could be marked for life by such answers.............

I'm not trying to excuse those adults... but I will have to admit that some kids- eh, a lot of kids- ask incredibily stupid questions. For example: "How do I look?" when the only picture avaliable is their avatar. Also, they (the kids) sometimes send out personal ads, which can be extermely dangerous and expressly prohibited in Yahoo! rules. Often, the kids have awful spelling... (although I don't think that's limited to them; I've seen adults use atrocious spelling as well, and sometimes people don't spell well because they're from somewhere in Asia and don't speak English very well.) ...that compromises our ability to read and understand the questions.
And some kids in "homework help" are not asking for "help;" They just want you to give them the answers. I've seen long lists of problems that strangely resemble test questions, and the kids only say: "Fill in the blank."
While it's a bit frustrating to see questions like these, that still doesn't excuse a rude or smart-@$$ response. But the kids really should try to find the answer to their questions on their own, instead of asking really obvious questions on Yahoo! answers. Also, they should at least try to sound intelligent. That will leave less room for any adults (or other kids) to attack them.
Doesn't matter where you go; there will always be adults who think they're "smarter" or more "mature" than a 15-year-old simply because they're older. And trust me, I've known many adults who are NOT. In my opinion, those adults are the ones who feel the need to beat down kids (and other people, for that matter), in order to make themselves seem smarter and older.
By the way, this is coming from a 17-year-old.

Honey some people in life are just rude... do not let those few keep you from coming in here and asking a question. I look at it this way, maybe if a child is asking a question they feel scared to ask an adult that they know so they are reaching out for help and always answer their questions as honestly and morally correct as possible because i would not want them to do something in life that they might regret in the future because nobody would listen to them or give them a genuine answer... Oh and to the adults who bash children and young adults for there use in grammer, spelling and punctuation you might want to check the web out because we all make errors in our typing. I have seen the writings of many adults who you would think must be completely illiterate. Hell I do not even know how to spell everything.
So to end this honey please stay and continue to ask your questions because no one ever said this forum was only for adults and just ignore the rude people.

I responded that question i have self assurance, and grow to be later bowled over to work out that it were bumped off. it is because, by some skill, organizations who run those web pages, the media and so on, arise with the money for those stupid stone age beliefs platforms the posh of being shielded from criticism. All faith is open to question and redicule, the web has been round for say 12 years, imagine how 50 years more effective of the replace of thoughts will crush those insane stone age self proclaimed "holy religions". The tides of replace can come right now, there'll be a time even as it truly is outright stupid and infantile to declare perception in imaginary gods. Yahoo solutions is clearly heavily moderated to more effective wholesome in with their international, yet on different "grown up" actual international forums, you may say it like it truly is. there is not any taboo in asking questions like "why do such an rather good type of human beings hate islam?" Q. "doesn't this qualify as religous discrimination??" - definite, that's non secular descrimination As for "...you heavily isn't saved yet will bypass to hell." this fiction is interior the same class as all the different man made religions

This may be due to the fact that most adults think younger people questions are stupid. As you mature and become older, experience makes you forget you once were young and in your mind theres a complete different status.
I have to agree some young people use this site only to have fun, and dont take anything seriously, but they make you laugh, or see other points you otherwise regularly would not see. Sometimes they are looking for help and post questions that are very important.
You dont have to be sad. Dealing with people is a difficult thing. If you keep diplomacy and take things with patience, you wont have any problems.

A lot of adults joined this to try and see what others are seeking. When young children ask inane questions that have no social or moral values to them then I think that a lot of adults answer with anger. I choose not to answer these frivilous questions as they are mostly geared to their peer group. But I have answered young people who have considered self harm and/or are contimplating hurting themselves or taking their lives. You too will be an adult someday and will view some of these questions as rather silly.

???? How do you know how old the people are asking and answering questions? Even if someone gives you a venomous answer who says they are older than 18 how could you know that they are not lying about their age? I think your off base here a bit, it's younger people who give venomous hateful answers and or ask equally ridiculous questions. I'm 34 (believe it or not) and I answer any legitimate question that I can to all people regardless of age, gender or race if I think my answer will help!

Some adults have experience under their and think that they have the only right answer or some are just trying to be funny. I have read some answers that weren't from someone 18 or younger and some were still sarcatic, rude or smart asses. Don't give up.

Because sometimes Kids ask questions that should not be answer on the web the should be talk to with their parents, I don't like to see question about bj, and sex things when it is a kid and you can always tell because of the wording of the question that it is from a kid. It makes parents and adults sick also it is also a way for pedifilers to find you. So becareful what you ask and how you ask it and you would not get the mean adult answers you don't want.

because half of the adults on here have the mind of a 5 year old. kinda makes you wonder if they would if they don't realize there are young children asking real honest questions that they are scared to ask their parents.
just because there are jerks on here don't mean that some of the silly questions aren't real people.
just read through the idiots and pick a real answer.........don't let them run you off!!
very good question!!!!!
