In controlled conditions Very large parking lot with out cars around. I think 14 is a good time to burn daddy's clutch in his new Mach 1. How else are young people to learn? Recent Commercial from Ford, Dad leans over after mustang and spinning tires and says these cars are not toys wanta do it again! Kids will be kids and should be fascinated with speed. WE WERE! Gasoline was 35 cents a gallon too! Turning the kid out onto the street at 14 NO. Learners Permit, Good Grades, Drivers ED, and probation daytime only and no friends in the car for the first six months, Because distracted young drivers get killed.

Well firstly at that age they have not even reached manlihood.
Secondly not much experience in all this stuff unles he started driving when he was a todler.
Thirdly they dont claim responsibility for their actions easily.
Fourthly friends meaning bad ones and the driver god knows what they'll do when they are game for some daredevil action.
Believe me lol i would know hehe cause im still a teenager...

I'm 18 and was their once. So no. Younger kids dont seem to understand the true value of a car or respect it enough to understand the true danger they are getting themselvs into. Speed power and huge ass woofers is all that comes to mind when you mention a car. Then they get some 80's toyota pickup and assume that its worthless and go rallying it. Kids dont deserve respect untill they are in their latter years.... My opinion btw.

No, they aren't old enough and if they wreck it your screwed! Not to mention they probably wouldn't be able to get theirs untill they are 18. I am sure you would loose your insurance and be responsilbe for all the damage they cause. Its not worth the risk even if you do trust them.

No for two reasons... Too young to have experience driving, remember when you turn your vehicle over to someone else you are putting your insurance company and yourself at risk... second its illegal....
