Check out baseballhalloffame.org there were indeed 3 men who were chosen to play in 24 All Star games.

i think craig s is wrong because on the website it said that there were sometimes 2 all star games in one season. i think that they were Hank Aaron,Willie Mays, and Stan Musial.

Nobody was chosen for 24 games. Aaron leads with 21, followed by Mays and Musial with 20 each:

Brent - I could be wrong, and I'm guessing their researchers know better than I do. There were a few years where there were 2 all-star games (1959-62, I think), and maybe these guys would have more if you include those seasons.

Good question. I agree with the guy ahead of me, but I do not think Ted Williams played 24 year of Major league ball because of the war . I will say Mays , Musial and Rose

off the top of my head - Willie, Stan the Man and Teddy.

footnote - these guys may have had a slight edge because
of a brief period during their careers when 2 All Star games
a season were played.
