Try 1000mg of oil of evening primrose per day every day - I, and others who I've recommended it to have found this to be very effective at reducing all symptoms of PMT etc., even mood swings, painful breasts, stomach cramps

Ive had this same problem. I had swollen painful lumpy breasts. I went to see a doctor and during the exam my breasts were so tender he couldnt finish the examination. He did feel the lumps and became very concerned. So he told me to do the following:

For 3 months:

NO caffeine ( no soda, coffee or tea with the caffs in it)
NO fried foods (baked or boiled)
Cut down on chicken and red meats (I went on ahead and deleted it from my diet. I ate baked fish)
Take daily a KELP pill
Take Daily B-vitamins
----------
BEFORE the 3 months were over. I felt no pain. By the time I went for the 3 month checkup, he felt that the lumps were COMPLETELY gone!

I have'nt had problems now WHEN I ate correctly. But I can tell the difference when I eat too much fried foods or drink too much soda. But see how it'll work for you!:-)

Good Luck!

Take 1000mg of Evening Primrose Oil (you can buy capsules in any pharmacy) every day, and within a couple of months you should notice a huge improvement.

It probably suggests a lower dose on the packaging, but it won't work at lower doses, and taking 1000mg a day won't do you any harm. I'm a doctor and I've worked with many breast specialists who recommend this for breast tenderness.

If it's just during your cycle, that's normal. But, if they're painful all the time, you should see a doctor.
