Should be ok BUT, after me and my husband did after he was away for 4 months in Iraq it was like a bloodbath! Gross, now he only gives me a couple of inches to be safe! Has been ok since, he's VERY well endowed.

Doggie is fine if your not uncomfortable, however, a big cumbersome belly seems to be less trouble during sex if it is at rest. You on top is fine also but again towards the end a big belly makes it feel a lot like work. But to each her own. Find your groove and enjoy. Remember, during pregnancy you should really work the whole massage before sex, the hugging, the touching. After the baby gets her you won't have time for a while. You will learn the art of the quickie. So absolutely enjoy each other every chance you get.

The only time you would need to abstain would be if there were any problems (such as a threatened miscarriage) and your doctor has advised you not to. Otherwise, its fine.
As for sex bringing on labour, that only really applies right at the end of pregnancy when you're ready to go into labour anyway. Sex isn't going to bring on an early miscarriage or labour.

As I'm a mum who has had 2 out of 4 babies prematurely, I would say you never know, I will always have this lingering doubt if contributed to 2 of my children being born early by having sex.
I did not have sex between 20 and 36 weeks without a condom when pregnant with my 2 full term children .
I do have group b strep positive so this may have been a contributing factor! good luck!
