I often wonder that myself. My other question is, why don't we correct our grammar? Can't help but notice you have no capital on when and apostrophe in don't.....I think the answer to both is a mix of laziness/shortcuts and use of text messages. For some reason I don't use caps or correct spelling in texts, but take the time to right with conventions on here...others don't. Guess as long as the writing is understood, communication occurs, and all is right with the world.....except, the English teacher in me just cringes...

I think it must be extremely hard for some to drag the mouse all the way to the upper right corner above the box and click on Check Spelling. Read item 3 in format of the Community Guidelines.

Because some people are just to lazy to do it - and some people actually think the way they are spelling the word is the correct way.

Some people don't care if they spell correctly because it's not like they're being graded on it or anything. It's also because of laziness and it's easier to just type 'cuz' instead of 'because'. Usually folks are just typing too fast (because they're so eager for answers to their question! =] ) and make spelling errors and don't realize it until it's too late.
