And would it matter if you replaced water with juice or soda-water?

you should take around 8 big glasses.. or more or less 2.5 to 3litre.

drinking juices and soda-water will replace water as they are all fluid, however they contain other substance that are either hypotonic or hypertonic to the body which can effect the water intake. Juices can boost the daily intake of vtamins and essential minerals, same goes for soda-water..

so it's better to drink plain water..

well it used to be 8 glasses but know it is about 10 glasses of water.

64 oz of water only is the best route. Other liquids have sugar and sodium.

i think it is 8 glasses (8oz. each) and i dont think you can replace it.
