Yeah, I KNOW it was a style. What caused the style?? And why do these same guys wig out when they see the way Gen-X/Gen-Y guys wear their hats?

Most of the guys born in the 1900 are dead now so i don't think they are wigging out . Plus they didn'twear their hats backwards . At a slight tilt . That was the style of the times . Gen. - XYZ that's their stlye completely different from the 30's , the men back then wore suits that fit them and didn't have the attitudes that XYZ do ...

There is a certain degree of style and class to a ****** (tilted) hat. However I have to agree that the first time I saw Gen-X/Gen-y guys wear their hat backwards it sure looked stupid to me. I've since gotten used to that. I still can't understand why these Gen-X/Gen-yers wear their pants down to their knees and show their underwear... it that fashion??

The most likely cause I can think of is because its rebellious.
The army, schools, and establishment would have told you to tuck your shirt straighten your hat ect..
Rebellion has fueled many fashion trends.
