I was a bit confused. Did Jonny Cash's dad kill Jack, Jonnys brother? I didnt understand his death. do you know?

it was an accident the saw blade caught him a very sad moment in the moive for me i cried my eyes out...because i had a cousin die the same way .

No... the buzz saw kicked back a piece of wood that hit Jack. Johnny left to go fishing and was not there to turn off the saw when it jammed, probably would have been able to help anyway.
The dad blamed Johnny, and later Johnny blamed his dad, as the two boys were both too young to be operating the machinery at hand.

No down at the work shop Jack was cutting wood, then Johnny went fishing. And while he was gone his brother slipped into the wood cutter. Then his dad got Johnny and took him home to see what had happened. His dad also kind of blamed Johnny for all of it.

Jack died after a wood mill accident. Johnny's father blamed him for the accident because he had gone fishing (at his brothers insistance). Hope this helps.

No his father was mad because he left his brother alone at the wood mill and went fishing. His brother died right after he left in a accident on the cutting saw.

No, that was an accident at the wood working mill. He sustained serious injury and died shortly after.. Although in a way, his dad kinda blamed him because he wasn't around, as he went fishing on his brother's encouragement..... : )

no johnny cashes brother was fatally injured by the wood cutter, you know the bit where johnny and his brother are in the wood cutting shop, and johnnys brother tells him to go fishing with out him, cause itl take him awhile to cut, then the wood cutter busts up.. well thats how he died from the injuries of it, cause the cutter pulled him towards the sword

I loved it! i became inspired that Joaquin Phoenix realized to play the guitar for the action picture, and his making a music became large. My in ordinary words quibble is that Reese Witherspoon sounds extra constructive than June Carter did, yet that would not get rid of from the action picture. :)
