you need to NOT do what people tell you. That's pretty much the point. To defy modern mainstream society, stand up for your rights, be yourself especially if makes people turn their heads and whisper to each other, and tell the preps and trend-followers to **** themselves. But if you're truly a punk at heart (as cliche as that sounds), you would already know that. Punk is a taste that tastes like puke, smells like sweat and blood, and sounds like fast shitty music with a few oi's thrown in, and it feels like a hang over and broken knuckels. It's a lifestyle that can be only lived until you die or realize there really is more to life than just being angry and trippin on acid... Its a lifestyle that can only be lived for one person, yourself. No one else. The only people who matter are your family, your loyal friends who don't pressure you do **** you don't wanna do, and the crappy punk bands play crappy music and bring moshing. Straight up.

ok just for your sake, you need to totally be yourself. you don't need to dress punk or act it to get a boyfriend. there are other ways of getting a guy without changing your image. if you are comfortable and looking cute then i don't see the reason to change. besides you would only be wasting your time and money trying to transform into something that you're not.

You're changing your style to impress a boy? What if he doesn't like you in the end?? Would you go back to your normal style? I'd think you were a poser. Just talk to him, introduce yourself. You don;t have to be in the same clinque for someone to like you.
