Firstly, it i necessary to define "apathy" and it seems there are some different meanings and connotations to the word. This is discussed in detail on the Wikipedia site (see below).
"Apathy" can mean - a lack of emotion, enthusiasm or motivation and it can be a psychological state - in which case it is neither right or wrong.
There is also the physical aspect of apathy associated with physical deterioration, muscle loss, and lack of energy is called lethargy — which has many pathological causes as well. This also cannot be consiered either right or wrong.
However, in early Christianity, the Christians adopted the term apathy, to express a contempt of all earthly concerns, a state of mortification, as the gospel prescribes. This means that early Christians would have said that apathy was a sin and was therefore wrong. Most Christians today, would still think that 'slothfulness' or laziness is a sin.

This is discussed in more detail on the Wikipedia site:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apathy

On a personal level, I often find that I feel lethargic, and lack energy and the motivation to do anything. Sometimes I find it difficult to get out of bed because there doesn't seem anything worth getting out of be for! Many people would describe this, I think, as lazy, but I do think it is part of my depression, which I suffer from.

I hope this helps:>)

We gave 1000's of greenbacks in prizes, given to Tangled cyber web Press via a poetry beginning up. we are common human beings. it rather is not any sin to no longer be wealthy. We promised the rather some Yahooligans a place in our next compilation, yet we got here across that the poetry replaced into no longer enjoyed via the customary public. It embarrassed a number of them, via fact they advised others earlier than booklet that they have been going to be revealed. We revealed one e book that bought 26 copies interior the 1st hour. Then, it stopped and the author theory he replaced into going to earn a lot of money. because it replaced into, we despatched him a case of books, thinking he might sell them, take his fee and pay the reported fee. i purchase my very own books and the books we post. We could pay the printer for printing the books. we do not have hundreds of 1000's of greenbacks nicely worth of printing centers. Random abode prints books and could pay the authors a 10% fee. We pay 40%. it rather is as much as each and every modern-day poet to push their very own works. we are publishers (no longer a self-love press), no longer brokers, although we despatched dozens of copies to faculties and newspapers. no person replied. We had a sturdy theory at a undesirable time in history. you may desire to have Oprah as a chum to post something that sells or you may desire to be a action picture star. Now, for the t/d's. yet it rather is the God's elementary fact; I swear it on each and every thing i admire and fee. Elaine
