Don't get me wrong. I've met lots of nice people who were members of frats and sororities. However, you have to admit that a lot of them think that they're hot s**t just because they're Greeks. The question is, why? Are they special because they have to pay other people to be their friends?

the particulars of the 'Greek' frats and sororities is that they are able to EXCLUDE others form their 'club'. That ability to exclude others makes them feel special because they were not excluded.

you have answered your question in your clarifying state mt.,"just because their greeks".it's the same with any organization.if fact i wonder if that isn't the reason anyone joins a club of any sort.it makes them feel special but i don't think it is due to any personality defect in most cases.

Maybe you just notice it more because they're in the lime light. Whereas there are plenty of self-important types in all walks of life.

because they are mentally ill. They have such low self-esteem that they need a group of people to puff themselves up. It's really very sad isn't it?

Ha... I dunno I never got the hype over the greek crap. I didn't get into it in college... I just wanted to get my degree and get the heck out of there.
