They keep coming up in loads of films...anyone know exactly how many?

READ MY QUESTION - HOW MANY? Why are you talking to me about friends, that's not a movie, and I know they have appeared in loads of films...my question is "does anyone know exactly how many?"

I don't think anyone will be able to give you a number, there are just too many and nobody has probably had any reason to count them all. But interestingly the poster for Michael Keaton's movie 'The Squeeze' showed them being crushed by a giant hand.

I don't know if you can count that many. Most money shot in NYC before 9/11 have show a panarama of the city with WTC. I am think of at least 10 off the top of my heard. I would look at how many movies were made in NYC before 2001 that took place in modern times (You don't want soemthing like Gangs of NY which took place in 19th C)

There are a lot, and the most air time I can remember of them in pop culture is from the show Friends.
I don't know if there is a listing of all the films they appeared in since any pre 9/11 shot of the NY skyline would likely have them in it. Heck, you could see them easily enough from the Turnpike in Jersey!
I flew over NY shortly after 9/11. I could still see the smoke. I still tear up when I think about that moment, and how it made me feel.

They don't really keep coming up in loads of films, they've always been there.
Probably hundreds of films. Almost anything filmed in NYC pre-2001 probably has a shot of the Twin Towers.

not a clue but Friends springs to mind, also working girl, they come up in most american movies.. its a sad reminder
lord of the rings had twin towers in it :P but not the one i think your thinkin of
