I was wondering if anyone could give me some music suggestions based on what I like. I'm just going to tell you some artists I like, because I think the conventional genre system is way out of wack anyway.
I really like laid back, instrumental music with lyrics. Keep it simple. Maybe guitar, drums, bass, piano sometimes, and a really good singer that doesn't get all in your face like alot of modern music. I can't stand in-your-face music!
Anyway, I don't know if anyone will have heard of these people or not, but I like James Hunter's People Gonna Talk album, and I really like Jack Johnson's In Between Dreams album.
I guess I like mellow, easy going, simple music. Any suggestions would be great!

Also rappers such as Notorious Big, Az, Cormega also have produced music of the laid back, mellow sort of style.

I suggest country. Well, some of it anyway. Some of those songs aren't really "in your face." I like Brad Paisley.
