I have that feeling that Benny died a long time ago, but before that they recorded his voice for many occasions. So now they only have to cut, edit the already recorded voice tapes to spread the propaganda. What do you think about his status?

my spelling of his name according to Dutch news agencys is correct.
They call him Osama Ben Laden and US networks calls him Usama Bin Laden

I suspect that by the time the US started dropping bombs on caves in Pakistan, Benny was on the beach in Bermuda sipping Mi Tia's.

Those video tapes say otherwise. They are studied for every detail. He has more grey hair now than the tapes from before the war. The details of the room or area he is in is studied. Everything from the angle of shadows to determine time of day to the dust on the floor is studied for clues. There is voice recognition software that is used to authenticate the voices. He has talked about recent events in some of his rantings, dating the videos.
Oh, yes. I'm afraid he is still out there.

Nah, he's alive. He just isn't the effective leader he used to be. His communications routes are compromised. He lets al-Zawahiri do most of his talking nowadays.
Al-Quaeda has spawned smaller groups with the same mentality. They act in the name of al-Quaeda. This is going to be a long fight.
