If you mean to ask the first batsman to hit six sixer in a over then it was Sir Garry Sobers of West Indies who hit six sixer in a first class game in England and Ravi shatari of india repeated the same in ranji trophy decades later. No one has ever hit six sixers in a test match.

If you talk about "Test match" then it is Kapil Dev,to saving a follow on india had a need of 24runs and Narendra hirwani was other side as last wicket.Kapil hit 4 consicutive sixes to save this and next over hirwani was got bowled on the first ball.
However India lost the match.This was the same match where Graham Gouch scored 333 and 123.
Most interesting fact about this inning,kapil was out in the next match because he was accused for the playing unresponsible shots in that match what could be the factor of follow on.Strange naa.
However this record exist for Ravi shastri and Gary sobbers for the "first class match" and it is six sixes in one over.
For "one day" I am not sure but there are many people who scored 4 sixes in one over.Sanath,Saeed and so on,so it is not on a particular shoulder

Don't remember the details. I'm pretty sure I'm right. Amazingly enough, sources tell me (i.e. my older brother) that New Zealand still lost the match where Lance Cairns hit 6 sixes!
