it really depends... in most text books a homework problem that says use room temp means use 72 F... if you are in a lab and they say jot down the room temperature then go look at the thermometer in the lab and use that exact temp.

If you were to take the temperature, it would be between 72-85 degrees. If you just feel it (like water, etc.) it would feel around the same temperature as your skin... maybe a bit cooler.
