Say, there is this new guy who has just been a few weeks in the college who say that he has found his true love in the college. Would you believe him? Do you think that love can happen at the first sight?

I would say more like LUST, than love, although one can lead to the other.

No. Love develops over time. A person would have no idea what a person is truly all about by looking at them...or even after a date and a good conversation. I think a person can decide that a person might be "worthy" of loving early on, but TRUE love is earned over time. The rest is all infatuation, lust, loneliness, or misguided/misplaced emotion.

Yes,and it happened to me. My husband saw me at the first time and he told himself that I was the one. 25 years later we are still married and he always told me that he married me for life. I believed the gentleman found his true love at first sight. I think Love can happen at fight sight. If you are single you never know love can play a trick on you and it may or may not call true love at fight sight.

I believe anything is possible with an open mind. I would like to believe in love at first sight but love takes time, it is probably lust.

No, it is lust at first sight. You can't know if you really love someone until you really get to know them and that doesn't happen for a year or two so it's emotionally impossible to "love" someone at first sight. Not saying it couldn't turn into love, but, at first it is always lust or infactuation.

there is love at first sight but not real love! its lust.meaning you always only feel like having sex. you run after that and after having that, only a few times do you stay on but it does not work cos you never plan nor care for love. it becomes real hard to work things out. it is and will forever remain LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT and not TRUE LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

ABSOLUTELY!! I met Gary in '91 or '92 and the feelings I felt at that very first moment were amazing-- love at first sight, for sure!! And guess what-- we are now married and I love him even more than ever. I really hope the same thing happens for "this guy." :)

Yes I believe in it. It happened only once and I blew it. If I could go back in time I would change the situation. I was friends with this girl and we liked each other and never would open up until it was too late.
