probably so. Put a hot moist washcloth on it - over and over -- and take an asprin.... the hot/water compress will help draw out the sty quicker and should reduce the pain....

The usual practice is to use a hot cloth on it, but if that does not work you can try using an ice cube applied to the area. That always worked for my mother. She got stys often.

It could be but could be other types of infection also. Maybe Blepharitis which just means you have inflamed lids. It is genetic & chronic even though you may not be bothered with it all the time. You need to see an eye Dr. who can tell you for sure & give you the appropriate treatment. Please do so as your eyes are very precious & you want to take as good care of them as you can.

It could be. Look for a white puss pocket. To get rid of it, hold a warm, wet wash cloth over it for awhile.

dont touch it just leave it..touching it would cause more infection..wash it regularly and try applying it with a menthol balm before u sleep(it would be minty of course)..hope it works..
