varies from women to women, and depends on if you breastfeed or not. If you only breastfeed (no formula), the chances of getting a period is extremely unlikely. Regardless, the change of you get your period at your 6 week postpartum checkup is next to 0. Whether you had a c-section or natural birth has nothingn to do with it, It's how your body reacts to the pregnancy hormones being gone.

I've had 2 sections & bleed 4-7 weeks afterwards, it's not your period. A normal cycle will begin after breastfeeding & if not breastfeeding, about 3 months later. Get some books and start reading.

It depends on whether or not you are breastfeeding. If you are breastfeeding you most likely will not have your period until you stop. ( I have a 4 month old and have not had a period just the bleeding after birth) If you are not breastfeeding your cycle should have returned to normal.

I bleed for almost 4 weeks and the following week after, got my period and have been normal since. Everyone is different, tho.

i did not have a real era after my section till my son became 5 months previous. this is bc i became on BF danger-free BC till he stopped BF at 4 months then i began Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo. the distinction contained in the birth control made me not have one till eventually then.

If you're breastfeeding, you may not have another period until you stop.
That's how it worked with my mom both times, she loved it.
