I think so, it is just that most people don't dare to give in to their darker side.
Humans are an agressive species, but modern life puts a lot of bounds and sexual taboos. So we find other ways to channel the agressiveness: sport, playing video games, watching movies and television with a lot of action and violence.

I'm afraid the answer is no. I am aware of people that will find it repulsive and cannot understand why anyone would want to be involved in that. If I take them at their word, and I have no reason not to, then obviously they do not find BDSM to be exciting at any degree.

In short, YES! In long, consider the broad definition of BDSM. The acronym alone covers Bondage, Discipline, Domination, Submition, Sado-masochism, Masochism. BDSM also often includes erotic role playing as well because of the inter-relationship of erotic role playing and the above ;isted disciplines in the DBSM acronym.

No, I don't think they do. I definitely find some elements of BDSM to be amazingly exciting, but others can be a total turn-off for me.
If you find it exciting, know that you are not alone. But it is not everyone's thing.

I think there are people who really don't like it <> fear of the unknown and losing control.
It can be a very freeing and exciting act if you are with a trusted person who you know will stop if and when needed. It is such an incredible release when you can fully let go and enjoy the experience.

I suppose. I used to have lots of fantasies about being tied up or handcuffed. When I finally did it with a partner, it was just kinda weird and akward, not half as cool as what I had fantasized about.
So I think that for me and for a lot of people, it's cooler in concept than in reality.

No one can ever say; "everyone or always", also the word exciting means different things to different people. Which means that your question has no true value as it has no true meaning.
