southend on sea area, if interested. any tips on getting published, or where to senmanuscripts? i know agents just can't be bothered with new authors, it doesn't need to be said. only serious parties answer this question please.

yes, I'd like to write some books and some moviescripts as well. I have written some pretty nice stories but don't know what to do with them.

I write books, but I need no help with them. I don't know what you write, but it might be best to do it yourself. A man wanted me to work with him. He had a detailed idea for a book, and I was to correct grammar and spelling. I have my own books to write, so I didn't spend much time with him. Computers check spelling, of course, but that isn't enough for some men. Some "agents" charge fees and do nothing, I'm told, so beware of this scam.

I would phone a newspaper, they must have some contact numbers they might be willing to share. long shot nothing to lose. good luck.
