Seems t me you would have a much better chance surviving in a boat than you would trying to out run it or swimming. I'd get the largest boat I could find in the time I had remaining and take my chances on the surface of the water.

well, if you do get to know a Tsunami is fast approaching you, get on to an item which would help you float, and you'll be a little more safe.

If you get a major Tsunami warning, and you live on the sea coast, gang up people and head into the deeper seas on a boat. Most survivors of the recent Tsunami were fishermen who were out in the sea.

Do row back to the coast after the Tidal wave passes, so you can be of help to those in trouble!!!

Running up to regions of higher elevation is a good idea too.
