The international business is hard. All kinds of internationals is trying 2 compete with you. They pirate your product design and steal your chickens.

Culturally, simple things that americans take for granted like Etiquette can be very important in a forgein country. Manners also are used in some situations in a decision as to work with a forgein country.
Time difference is a challange as if your in the UK and you need to call the US it can be very late at night before you connect.
Some is actually translation or saying words with saying them. Many business meetings there is no agreement actually stated it can be confusing like "ok are they are board with us, they have answered but they are doing the following things and they wouldnt do that if they werent on board, would they?"

Political situations change constantly.
Taxes imposed by your government may make trading non-lucrative.
Cultural differences impose difficulties.
Distance to point of sail impose difficulties.
There is always some suspicion when a foreigner presents a product.

1. Language - example. Do you speak Chinese?
2. Laws - e.g. Can you sell beer in Kuwait or will they arrest you.
3. Climate - e.g. Will ice cream sell in Iceland?
4. Politics - e.g. Will they actually let you trade. Communist country perhaps.
