Why did I get some two thumbs down? I didn't formulate such a question. The reason why I asked you guys to answer the question on the link is to at least say something about what we Filipinos eat because I know that rice is not as bad as what they see.

I dunno I live in China most of the time and eat rice.. but meat too... I lose weight when there and no there( England) ... sorry I aint filipino but british...

No, its not brainwashed into thinking we pinoys can't live without rice but it is the staple food for most filipinos who are not used to eating bread and pasta. But we're getting there. With the influx of various cultures here - from asian to italian, pinoys are beginning to become adventurous eaters meaning they eat not just rice-based food but pasta, pizza, bread and other types of food. Its 300 years of culture you just can't erase in 1 year.

you know the person who asked about the rice thing obviously does not know what he is asking about and does not know our culture. So we are just wasting time with him/her
aren't people around the world knows the value of rice and that all of us here eat rice. unless his from other planet that does not know what rice is.
