There is no bridge program. They would have to go to medical school and start from the begining.

This is such a random thing to say, but there was a character on "Holby City" who was a nurse and decided to train to be a doctor, so it's definitely possible. Presuming that you're asking because you're a nurse who wants to become a doctor, I'd visit my nearest careers advice centre to see what they suggest, and also possibly ask my colleagues, since someone may well know about the training involved (this may be more likely if you work in a hospital). I would be surprised if there was no way of shortening the doctor's training, since you already have medical experience.

You can do a Phd in nursing or some other Phd course. Also you could become a doctor of dentistry, or vetinery surgery.

To go about it you would have to do some research. A good place to start researching would be a university or college where nursing is taught.

In my understanding you want to be medical doctor, not for instance, doctor of philosophy. besed on this assumption: Yes, everybody can be a doctor. There is no restriction based on your race, religion, and of course current profession. You need to get diploma from a school of medicine to be a doctor.

Yes, how it can be done varies from country to country.
Some countries give allowance for a nursing degree, some don't, but a nurse's experience would be invaluable.

Ex-nurses make good doctors.
