Why do non-Americans always bash the U.S. without acknowledging the problems in their own country?

Don't get me wrong our President is screwing up. But I am sick of the British, French, and Aussies ignoring the problems in their own countries.

Especially the British. Hello Blair is as big a fool as Bush. And Australia and France need to be worried about their problems with racism, and immigration.

If you don't read the full question then please don't answer. I acknowledge that are president is a fool, and completely incompetent.

Bashing other countries is something that most nationalities get up to and usually it's done so out of ignorance.Most of the worlds problems are caused through blindness of other peoples cultures.I'm a Brit and I agree entirely that he is equally or even more foolish as Bush.Both should focus on domestic problems rather than interfere in foreign affairs for which they seem to have little understanding.

Well duh, I'm a Mexican and if you just read all the racist and fascist hate comments against us from you gringos, I mean how could anybody, even a people as decent, reasonable and noble as we Mexicans, put up with all that vicious racist garbage from people as ignorant, immoral and violent as you lot, without us even commenting on all YOUR own problems.

We DON'T ignore our own problems, and if you ignorant and racist gringos would actually LOOK, you would see that Mexico IS getting something done. Our GDP is raising at over 5.4% per year, our peso has remained steady against the dollar for almost 10 years now. We have had two totally democratic national elections without even a flutter in our economy. There is now 1 Mexican returning to Mexico for every 3 illegals who arrive in the US (verses 1 in 10 six or seven years ago).

We just don't like to harp on OUR problems when it is so much MORE enjoyable (given the TOTAL American arrogance towards the rest of the world) to point out YOURS!

You "Americans" (and you STOLE that word too, it doesn't belong to you..) are just such uneducated, arrogant, hate-filled, ugly, violent, immoral, drug addicted, self-righteous ARSEHOLES, we all can't get enough of bashing you!

There was a time , before Repblicans took over that the USA was a model of freedom and human rights, advancing education, democracy and honesty in government. Now G. Bush preaches about freedom with no foundation to back it up. His administration stands for the same policies as a dictatorships; condeming all those that criticise, govermnment control of TV, radio and the press, and government for the enrichment of the few (and big business). They removed Sadam to replace him with their own dictator.Other countries have more freedom and intellectualism regarding personal choices such as lower age of consent and drinking, gay rights, marijuana is not an instant crime, and neither is sex.These other countries see the hyprocrisy and stupidity in our boisterism.

But seriously, read Elliot Arronson's "Social Animal". I backs up a lot of what some of you are saying. People and society always find some one or something to bash, oppress and otherwise treat like crap because it makes them feel superior and takes the onus off of them for their own.... f***ups.

It's true and I'm not proud of it, but that is interior policy problems which don't imply other countries, USA bashing is about foreign policy and wars wich implies other countries..
