I'm not sure what you mean by timetable. But our studying is done on our free time their is no assigned time to do so. Their is a limit to how much homework you can be given on a nightly basis.

And it is true that you we don't go to school year round. Our summers are off unless your parents send you to summer school.

In America only a few students attend Summer school, those who may need remedial help in a weak subject. This is a choice of the student, not mandatory.

The normal school year runs from September through May.

This is true, no school in North America from mid-june till end of august, for High school and even longer for College and Universities.....

Even during class, I wonder if americans really learn anything.....seem to be that school system is a huge joke over there. In a study(not THAT serious but still), TV asked americans to name the Northern neighbor of US, most could not. Lol, Canada is only the second largest country in the world......

The same study asked americans if Canada should align their timetable of 25 hours a day down to 24 to align with AMERICA. Most answered yes without a second tought.

They also told them that Canada was getting is second phone area code, and people belived that.

They we're also asked if they could share the technology of electricity so we can get TV. FACT: CANADA INVENTED TV.

They we're also asked if they could share (american) football with us. FACT: CANADA INVENTED FOOTBALL.

While pointing on a blind map, they we're asked to pinpoint USA, lots pointed Russia, as it's the biggest country of the world.

Once again, I wonder about their school system.

North America should align school to France as they learn more, during a longer period and with more hours often during this period.

Cheers from Canada.

Normal students goto school for 10 months out of the year. In most school systems they also have 1 week of vacation to celebrate christmas and 1 week of vacation to celebrate easter.

Wow that's severe! i do no longer stay in usa, yet right here in Australia it incredibly is plenty greater comfortable. I went to a competent public college. training began at 9.10am (however we had 'variety' type from 8.50am), and complete at 3.20pm different than on Wednesdays whilst it complete at 2.30pm. enormously plenty absolutely everyone might circulate living house then, even with the fact that 3 hundred and sixty 5 days 12's can stay and get greater desirable help from instructors on Friday's until eventually approximately 4.30pm or so. i won't be ready to submit to in techniques precisely. On a typical college day, i could be living house via 4pm, have a snack and loosen up, perhaps beginning some study via 4.30-5pm. At around 6.30pm i might have dinner and probably spend yet another couple of hours analyzing until eventually now relaxing and going to mattress. We did no longer have college on Saturday or Sunday, however some scholars went in for musical rehersals and such for some hours on the weekend. i might often do a honest volume of prognosis on the weekend, yet no longer hundreds. In 3 hundred and sixty 5 days 11 and 12 i might do somewhat greater study the place i ought to. We additionally had study breaks until eventually now tests. I have been given into the superb college in my state (UWA), it incredibly is in all likelihood approximately as annoying to get into by way of fact the different precise uni's in Australia. Wasn't fairly aggressive however; you go with a TER of a minimum of 80 to get into UWA (however some classes require plenty greater, which incorporate regulation or drugs which go with around ninety 8). i'm analyzing Biomedical technological know-how, and have been given a TER of 89. To get which you often go with an unscaled customary of roughly seventy 5-80%, however which will nicely be decrease in case you're doing complicated matters. As for the minimum mark to get in, utilising incredibly 'elementary' matters, could be around 70% good success getting by using highschool!!!
